PC and PMMA material are popular in prototyping,but how to choose the most suitable material for your project?Please see following comparative analysis.

  1. Price:About sheet material price,PMMA is higher than PC.If clients have special requirements,imported PMMA is also a good choice.

  2. Properties: PC was more advantages in heat resistance and toughness.

  3. Surface treatment:Fumigation is often used to make PC clear,but hi-polish is better for PMMA.

  4. Effect: PMMA is more transparent compared to PC. Light transmittance of PMMA can be reached 95%,but only 75% for PC.

All in all,high strength of transparent part,PC is better.PMMA is best for nice appearance.
